Magical, heart warming and enchanting are three words that immediately come to mind when I think about the Mommy & Me High Tea with Belle event we attended last weekend. I was looking forward to this event for over a month. One, because I love having tea parties with my kids and my mama and two because who doesn't love a Disney Princess!
The event was hosted by Gran's Tea Time and Minikinz Entertainment. It included high tea & coffee, sweets and treats, Princess Belle from Minikinz Entertainment and professional photography by Bre Photography. The event took place at Not Just Another Dance Studio in Ancaster.
Let me start by painting a picture for you.
You arrive at the dance studio and walk through the doors into the main lobby. You immediately see a sign that says "be our guest" and are surrounded by the tiniest and most beautiful little princesses. Mom's, grandmas and children are all eagerly awaiting for the magical door to sweep open to reveal the beautiful Princess Belle. My heart is racing in excitement just along with the kid's for the magical moment to happen. As the clock strikes 11:00am the door's magically open and the beautiful Belle is standing in front of us. The children and adults faces light up with magic that cannot be described - one that can only be felt.
As we walk through the doors the palace (Not Just Another Dance Studio) is revealed. The space is transformed into a sweetest tea party for all to enjoy. Every little detail is designed to fit the Beauty and the Beast Theme perfectly. The table numbers feature all the characters from the movie, the cupcakes are red and yellow, and the photo backdrop is stunning! Not a detail was missed. The event started with a beautiful introduction from Daniela from Minkinz Entertainment with the beautiful Belle by her side. As we sipped tea and devoured the delicious goodies Belle made her way around the room graciously meeting each and every family. Belle looked absolutely STUNNING! What really made my jaw drop was her dress. It looked like she stepped right out of the movie and in front of me. But it didn't stop there, not only was her appearance Disney worthy, she had the most beautiful voice! Her mannerisms and voice were always in character. Belle then went on to read all those in attendance a beautiful love story about her and the beast. Her voice enchanted all in the room and filled everyone's hearts with magic. My son definitely experienced his first crush - he couldn't take his eyes off Belle.
All the princesses and adults eagerly lined up to get their chance to meet Belle. Belle made each person in the room feel so special as she greeted them and graciously took a photo. The photo backdrop provided by Paper and Luxe made the photos extra special. The beautiful hand made flowers and sparkling lights were magical. One of my favourite parts of the afternoon was sitting and watching all the families meet Belle. You got to witness a lot of little girl's dreams come true. It was also amazing how many adults were just as excited to meet Belle. Belle greeted everyone whether big or small with the same excitement.
While all of the excitement was happening Bre Photography was capturing the magic of the afternoon so beautifully. I had the pleasure of chatting with Bre and she was so sweet. You can tell she truly loves what she does! I have to say I didn't even know she was in the room most of the time. This was nice because she captured some beautiful candid moments without you feeling there was a photographer pointing a camera at you all the time.
I think I can speak for everyone when I say no one wanted to leave. All in attendance were beaming with happiness getting to spend the afternoon with those they love most and Belle.
