Meet Bethany the mama and maker behind @cozylittlefox. Bethany makes custom high quality baby products to make your nursery dreams come true. She also donates a portion from each order to their local Ronald McDonald House.
Do you have kids? If so how many and what age? I have 1 son (Carter), he’s 3.5 years old
What is one thing people probably don't know about you? I had a severe concussion September 2016, and lost my full time job due to the concussion. I needed to keep busy and not feel useless and that’s when Cozy Little Fox came to be, as a single mom I also found I needed certain baby items but needed something cost efficient.
Are you at stay at home mom? I am a stay at home mom, running Cozy Little Fox with my 3.5 year old everyday!
What is your favourite thing to do for yourself? I don’t get too much time alone and not sewing but going for a drive and just listening to music is super relaxing!
What is your favourite date night activity? Our date nights always consist of dinner and a movie (if date nights happen) 1 thing I couldn’t live without is my son, he changed me!
Who is your IG inspiration? I’m still trying to figure out Instagram but Baby Octopi is my 100% inspiration not just on Instagram
What advice would I give my younger self? Save money sooner and choose your friends wisely
How did you choose the name for your business? When we first started our business we were Little Fox Creations (my son loved foxes), after a while it didn’t really seem to fit anymore as the majority of our products are bedding related. We went with Cozy as it best explained the feeling of our products, and kept Little Fox so our customers could still find us!
Where do you run your business? Out of mine and my parent's house.
How do your balance having kids and running a business?
As a stay at home mom running the business from home with my son with me 24/7 it’s hard but it gets done!

What advice would you give someone starting up their own business? Advice I would give someone wanting to start their own business is don’t do it unless you’re determined! It’s hard and very easy to get down on everything but if you stick it out everything will work out!
What sets your business apart from others alike?There are so many other businesses that make blankets and bandanna bibs, every single product of ours is 100% customizable! If you want a matching crib set, we’ve got you! If you have a thicker change pad cover, we can do that! Our rail covers are a nursery game changer for those little beavers! Our levelling crib skirts are also designed so that once you lower the crib mattress, you can shorten the crib skirt so that it’s not dragging all over the floor - to keep a nice fresh look!
What is the most challenging part of running your business? The most challenging part of running the business is keeping up with the ever changing nursery themes and colours, which items to keep in-stock. In-stock items are difficult since we are a custom based business!
Coffee or tea? I will go for a hot chocolate or a green tea!
Neutral or colourful? I like neutral but love to have that good pop of colour!
Morning or night? I’m more of a morning person, me and my son go to bed at the same time
Wine or beer? I almost never drink alcohol️
Starbucks or Tim Hortons? I used to prefer Starbucks but loving McCafe hot chocolate!!
Online or In Store? Lately online shopping over in store!
Facebook or Instagram? I’m still learning Instagram but I prefer Instagram with less dramatic world altering things constantly popping up, etc.
Text or phone call? I generally prefer text over phone call but that depends on the day!

I genuinely love all of the products that Bethany sent us. But I have to say there is one that takes 1st place by far and I wish I had it when Lily was little too. I am going to write my review by product and of course save my favourite for last.
Up first is the bandana bib. We received a bandana bib in the adorable crab pattern. This is not a pattern that I would typically gravitate to but I have to say I LOVE it. The colour makes Masons eyes pop and goes with so many of his outfits.The bib has 2 buttons on it which I love so I can adjust the sizing for Mason. It is made with high quality fabric and Mason seems to find it comfortable to wear. It also washes really well as I am sure many moms can relate to the endless amounts of spitups that occur!
The next item we received is a blanket. When Bethany said she named her company Cozy Little Fox to capture how cozy her products are she nailed it! This has got to be one of the softest and coziest blankets I have ever felt. I love snuggling up with Mason underneath it, if only it was adult sized. I love the pattern of the blanket and that I can use it with both my kids. Lily helped me open the package when it arrived and she pulled the blanket out and the first thing she said was "Wow mommy so pretty, it's so soft". We opened the package right before bed so I asked her if she wanted to sleep with it and she told me no mommy, I sleep with my blankie (it is a major comfort item for her I don't think there is any replacing it) and she said her baby brother should sleep with it. So that we did, we snuggled Mason up and off to sleep he went nice and cozy.
The last and my favourite product that we received is the toddler bib in teal arrow print. Mama's this needs to be on your must have list and would make an amazing gift for a new mom! One thing that I really struggle with is finding a good bib. A lot of them are too small for feeding purposes and are more about appearance. They keep about 2cm of my kids clothes clean and that's about it! Well not this bib mamas! Bethany's toddler bib is AMAZING! I used it on Mason in his bumbo chair and not a drop of food got on him. It was a miracle. It covers pretty much his entire body that he was kept nice and clean. I also like how because it is long it helps keep his seat clean and I can tuck it in nice and tight so it doesn't move around on us. Mason is a major wiggle worm and refuses to sit still so other bibs just kept flying all over the place increasing the amount of mess, however Bethany's stayed nice and put because of the extra length. I also love that he could wear it out of his highchair and while sitting on the ground to stay clean. The extra length of the bib is a life savour. I highly recommend checking out this product, heck all of Bethany's products! You won't be disappointed.
