For this date we went old school! We took it back to high school days and went bowling. I don't know why but I feel like bowling is something I did in high school and just don't do as an adult anymore. Which is so silly!
Bowling is a great date night idea for so many reasons!
1. Competition is sexy! I think that being competitive as a couple can be fun and sexy. It can bring out a playful side in each other and dare I say it, that playfulness continue once you get home *wink wink*. Yes, sometimes competition can get a little out of hand but a little bit is healthy. Want to take a game of bowling to the next level? Try setting a wager at the beginning of the game. Some examples are: winner buys dinner next round of drinks is on the looser looser has to watch the kids while winner get's some alone time looser gives the winner a massage I will let you use your imagination for the rest. 2. It is a quick date night. A lot of parents don't feel comfortable leaving their child(ren) at home with a babysitter for long. Bowling is a great date night activity that doesn't last too long. Chris and I completed two games of bowling in 30 minutes. So from the time we left to the time we got home we were gone for under an hour (the bowling alley is 5 minutes from our house). You are able to keep your phone close in case of an emergency and don't have to stress about being out too long.
3. It can be a fun double date! If you are looking to double date with some friends bowling is a great way to get everyone out of the house for some fun. Usually it is cheaper if you rent a lane with multiple people.
